Over the course of several years, Mattias Falck found success using the Yasaka MA LIN SOFT CARBON blade, steadily improving his world ranking. However, seeking a slightly faster blade without compromising ball feel, Mattias collaborated with the Yasaka blade factory for a solution. Through extensive testing of various carbon materials, wood veneer combinations, and thicknesses, a breakthrough was achieved.
Utilizing Japanese Premium Carbon (JPC) and precisely layered with five wooden veneers of exact thicknesses, the perfect construction was realized. The last challenge in perfecting the blade for Mattias was the gluing method. A few months prior to the WTTC 2019, Mattias transitioned to using the new blade, achieving commendable results: reaching the semifinals in the World Tour Platinum Qatar Open and securing the silver medal in the World Championships in Budapest.
The Yasaka FALCK CARBON blade represents the pinnacle of blade technology for discerning players. It strikes an exceptional balance between speed and feel, tailored for attacking players seeking cutting-edge performance on the table.
