The SpinLord Dornenglanz II is not simply a revised edition of the original Dornenglanz. While the pimple size is nearly identical, Dornenglanz II represents an entirely new rubber. The pimples on Dornenglanz II are of medium hardness and highly elastic. Although its pimple tops exhibit a slight shine similar to Dornenglanz, they possess less friction. Dornenglanz II stands out as the inaugural long pimple-out rubber that excels in various strokes while maintaining a high level of danger. While Dornenglanz might be slightly more formidable for blocking, Dornenglanz II surpasses it in all other aspects. It proves exceptional for chopping, attacking, and even blocking, nearly matching Dornenglanz. With easy control, all strokes executed with this rubber follow a brief and flat trajectory. Dornenglanz II caters to skilled players seeking a rubber that is slightly swifter, firmer, and more menacing than Agenda and Blitzschlag, without compromising versatility. Additionally, it's worth noting that the pimples on Dornenglanz II exhibit greater durability compared to those on Dornenglanz. It's important to be aware that Dornenglanz II is crafted with a distinctive rubber formula, and it's possible that, post-production, minute traces of resin may be present between the pimples.

We are pleased to introduce the enhanced version of Dornenglanz III. In its ox form, it is now notably more adept at blocking balls than its predecessor. This new iteration boasts a slightly increased speed compared to the previous version, prompting us to assign it a speed rating of 3 instead of 2.5.

The visual appearance of both the old and new versions remains identical, and we will cease the sale of the first version immediately. Dornenglanz III's rubber compound incorporates numerous artificial polymers, rendering the base softer and more elastic than other long pimples from SpinLord. The knobs, which are remarkably robust, have a slightly broader profile compared to other long knobs from SpinLord. The distance between the pimples is average, and the cylindrical knobs feature a small conical reinforcement on the knob bottom with finely fluted heads.

Dornenglanz III demonstrates a noticeable decrease in speed compared to previously available long knobs from SpinLord, aligning closely with the tempo of barbed fire. When compared to the slow Lion Claw, Dornenglanz III offers a distinct playing experience due to its significantly higher elasticity and softer rubber compound. The sponge utilized is a slow and soft "Made in China" sponge, ensuring that even in 1.0 mm, Dornenglanz III remains slower than other long pimple rubbers in ox. The SpinLord Blitzschlag represents an evolutionary step from the SpinLord Dornenglanz. While the pimple structure remains unchanged, the Blitzschlag features a distinct rubber mixture. The pimples on the Blitzschlag are softer and more elastic, with a slightly increased distance between them. This design choice results in the Blitzschlag being a bit slower, offering enhanced control, and exhibiting higher durability compared to its predecessor, the Dornenglanz.
