Tibhar Alexis Lebrun Krypto Carbon review
The 5+2 'Krypto Carbon' blade behind France's former European champion

Alexis Lebrun's signature blade uses two layers of Tibhar's Krypto Carbon, a woven carbon with a bulky fibre structure designed to give more feedback than standard carbon.

The Krypto Carbon idea

Tibhar's goal is the familiar problem with carbon blades: speed but a numb feel. Krypto Carbon's fluffier weave is meant to give clearer feedback at contact. At 5.7 mm it is slimmer than many carbon blades, which also helps feel.

Matching rubbers

Alexis plays Tibhar Hybrid K3 on both sides. That gives a spinny, controllable set-up that suits changes of pace.

Who it suits

Players who vary speed and spin and want carbon power with more touch. A good alternative to the Cybershape if you prefer a traditional head shape.

Our verdict

Great value for a pro signature carbon blade, with a control rating that makes it usable for strong club players.
