Helix Platinum is Stiga's newest top-level rubber, and the XH (extra hard) version is what Truls Moregard uses on both sides. It is designed in Sweden and made in Germany.

Figures are manufacturer ratings, cross-checked with a second published source (see the sources below). Brands use different rating scales, so compare numbers within a brand only.
What the numbers mean
52.5° on Stiga's scale is firm. Hard sponges need a full, fast stroke to compress, but reward it with a strong, direct ball and plenty of spin. Stiga claims the small-pore sponge returns 11% more energy and gives a higher arc than earlier Stiga rubbers.
The control rating is the lowest in this line-up, which is the honest signal: this is a rubber for players who generate their own pace.
Blade pairing
Moregard's own set-up is the Cybershape Carbon CWT Truls Edition. On an all-wood blade it will feel more forgiving.
Who it suits
Advanced attackers with fast, long strokes. If you want something a touch softer from Stiga, look at DNA Platinum H.
A no-compromise pro rubber. Brilliant if your technique can drive it; too demanding for developing players.
