Elizabet Abraamian has won the women's singles title at the 2026 European Championships in Ljubljana, completing a run that began in qualifying. She beat Germany's Annett Kaufmann 4-3 in the final on 18 October.
The European Table Tennis Union called it a "remarkable journey from qualification to European gold". Like the men's final, the women's final went the full seven games.
France's Prithika Pavade and Germany's Nina Mittelham took the bronze medals. Kaufmann's silver capped a strong week for Germany: she also won bronze in the women's doubles with Mittelham, and Mittelham won mixed doubles gold with Benedikt Duda.
The ITTF framed the new champions as part of the "Road to Astana", looking ahead to the next major events in the calendar.
