The fastest blade in the Silver Line series is Yasaka's recently released SILVER 9 WOOD. This cutting-edge, quick-attacking table tennis blade is made at the renowned Tranås, Sweden, table tennis facility. This nine-ply blade is made up of three firm center veneers that are adhered to one another to form a strong core. Two thinner and harder red wooden veneers, one on each side of the core, cover the core. The high pressure used in a specific procedure makes the outer silver/red veneers extremely durable. A thin, medium-soft veneer is the second veneer that was used. With its enormous sweet spot and eight layers of adhesive, the Silver Line 9 WOOD is made possible by the careful selection of veneers.
