With the new Carbonado blades, we have elevated the carbon blade manufacturing process by utilizing TeXtreme®, a Swedish-made carbon technology. TeXtreme® Spread Tow Carbon fibers, which are lightweight, are layered twice and combined with five layers of wood to form the blades. It is the first of its kind and has never been used in table tennis before thanks to this special and patented carbon. Because the unique TeXtreme® Spread Tow Carbon is only flexible in one direction—either torsional or flexural—it is possible to modify and enhance the ball's speed and trajectory during production to suit a player's preferred playing style. Either a 45-degree or 90-degree angle is used to apply the two carbon layers. Layers of carbon are used to build Carbonado 145.
