The name "TEZZO," derived from the Japanese term "tezawari," meaning "to feel pleasant," emphasizes the central theme of the new blade series: creating a positive and comfortable playing experience. Rather than prioritizing maximum speed during blade development, the focus was on ensuring immediate comfort for players of all types. In pursuit of this goal, an examination of the world's most popular "classic" offensive blades in the amateur sector led to the selection of four special ply compositions. All blades feature a Limba outer ply, known for its calmness compared to other outer plies, making them more forgiving. The TEZZO blades share the common characteristic of being "easy-to-play." The positive reception from contracted players, including national players like Vitor Ishiy and Deni Kozul, attests to their suitability for both amateurs and professionals.
Tezzo Guardian
Distinguished as the only pure all-wood blade in the series, the Tezzo Guardian stands out with its red Ayous inner plies. The harmonious overall design, complemented by the black/red handle, creates a unique aesthetic. The blade offers a soft and highly sensitive touch, providing forgiveness through a long dwell time and ensuring a certain level of basic safety for the player. Despite the 7-layer ply structure, the blade remains quite stiff overall, delivering sufficient speed for attacking shots. The Guardian is versatile, catering to both all-round and offensive players when paired with suitable rubbers.
