Introducing the Dr. Neubauer COLOSSUS, a groundbreaking choice for combination bat players offering a massive disruptive effect coupled with excellent control.
COLOSSUS represents a significant milestone in the evolution of combination blades. The backhand side is deliberately slower than our TITAN blade, providing an enhanced ability to slow down the ball even further, particularly when blocking close to the table with specialized rubbers. It excels in effortlessly returning fast topspin shots with ABS balls using long pimples, delivering substantial spin reversal with Anti-Spin rubbers. COLOSSUS also amplifies the effectiveness of short and half-long pimple rubbers, causing the ball to bounce low during blocking, counter-attacks, and hits.
Similar to TITAN, the forehand side of COLOSSUS is designed to be faster, exerting pressure on the opponent. This applies to both offensive pimple-out rubbers (for counter-attacking and straight hitting) and inverted rubbers (for looping with spin).
The control aspect is exceptional, aligning with the high standards of all blades produced by Re-Impact. The legendary ball feeling, particularly on the backhand side, has been further improved. The faster side is easily identified by the black "Dr. Neubauer COLOSSUS" lens in the handle, while the slower side lacks this feature.
