Nittaku has released only 200 units of this Limited Edition 2023 blade. Crafted in Japan, the ETO blade uses high-quality Kiso Hinoki wood combined with advanced carbon technology. The carbon layers, positioned between the Kiso Hinoki outer plies and the core, are made from an innovative elastic rubber carbon that enhances the blade's playing characteristics. A particular challenge in production was creating a handle from carbon rather than wood. This lightweight carbon handle reduces the blade's total weight to around 75 grams. The blade measures 157 mm by 150 mm and is made in Japan.
